Who operates this site

This site is operated by Greg Berryman, an Australian sole trader, Australian Business Number (ABN) 83 951 623 827, trading as Affairs In Order Thailand, a business name registered with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. Contact: greg@inorderthailand.com.

This is information, not legal advice

Everything on this site, and in anything sold through it, is general information. It describes what the law and the published procedures appear to say. It is not legal advice, it is not a substitute for legal advice, and it does not take account of your circumstances.

Using this site, buying from it, or emailing me does not create a lawyer and client relationship. I am not a lawyer, in Thailand or anywhere else. Where material describing Thai law has been reviewed by a Thai-qualified lawyer, that review is credited separately and by name, and the reviewer is not the author.

If you need your own situation assessed, engage a Thai lawyer. I do not provide that, by email or otherwise.

Accuracy and currency

Thai law, embassy procedure and government guidance change, sometimes without notice. Pages carry the date their sources were last checked. Errors are corrected when found or reported, and reports are welcome at the address above.

I do not warrant that the material is complete, current or free of error, and it should not be your only source in a matter that affects you. Nothing in this section limits the consumer guarantees described in the refund policy.

Buying from this site

  • Products are digital and delivered as downloads. Nothing is posted.
  • Prices are set in US dollars. In some countries the store shows and charges in your local currency instead, at Shopify's conversion rate. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay, though your bank may add its own fees.
  • Payment is processed by Shopify Payments. I do not see or store your card details.
  • There is no subscription. Purchases are one-off.
  • Nothing sold here is a service. Nobody makes calls, contacts authorities, or acts on your behalf.
  • Support is limited by design. Free information is unlimited and corrections are welcome. I do not apply the material to one person's facts, by any channel.

Your rights

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, or under any other consumer protection law that applies to you. Those guarantees cannot be contracted out of. Where anything here conflicts with them, they prevail.

Copyright

The material on this site and in the products sold through it belongs to Greg Berryman. You may use what you buy for your own purposes, including printing it and sharing it with the people it concerns. You may not resell it, republish it, or distribute it commercially.

Where a product reproduces material published by a government under an open licence, that licence is identified in the product itself.

I link to government and embassy pages so the source can be checked directly. I do not control those sites and am not responsible for their content.
